Fire Rages As 20 Die In Greyhound Collision On I 15
Twenty people were killed and ten injured in a fiery head on crash on Interstate 15 near Baker California. A westbound Chevrolet drove the wrong way into a Greyhound bus coming from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. The bus overturned and was engulfed in flames delaying rescue as workers from Pacific Telephone aided the injured and rushed them to Barstow Community Hospital. The highway link to Nevada has seen prior fatal crashes including one near Baker that killed Belinda Lee.
