OWJC Offers GED Tests at Valparaiso Annex
Okaloosa Walton Junior College will administer high school equivalency GED tests this Thursday and Friday from 8 15 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Annex Building. The test battery covers English Expression Social Studies Natural Science Literature and General Mathematics. Florida residents may earn a High School Equivalency Diploma if they are at least 20, score 45 on all tests, and show knowledge of American History and American Government or Civics by credit or a pre March 1 1968 end of course exam.
Thunderbirds and Blue Angels Honor Doolittle Raiders at 26th Reunion
Thunderbirds and Blue Angels will fly in salute to the Doolittle Raiders during the 26th anniversary reunion at Eglin AFB April 18 20. Reunion chairman Jack Jenkins of Valparaiso announced details of the three day event with an air show and a possible carrier deck re-enactment. The gathering, sponsored by local counties, includes hosts for Raiders, memorial services, a visit to Eglin, private luncheon, and a boat cruise, with several activities chosen by Raiders.
