Alabama Woman Drowns Near Blue Gulf Resort
Mrs. Betty Jo Cortner, 38, of Andalusia Alabama, drowned at 1 30 a m Saturday one mile east of the Blue Gulf Resort in South Walton County. She was en route to a new duty station and pronounced dead at Fort Walton Beach Hospital. The body was recovered by Florida Marine Patrol members Set C C Skidmore and Tommy Pilcher.
