Woman defends son as mountain lion mauls in camper
Rapid City reports a 120 pound mountain lion leaped into a tourist camper near Hear Country. Mrs. Peter Underdahl stabbed the animal three times after it mauled her grandson Jason Cowden, aged year old, and bit her, her husband, and Mrs. Walter Cowden. The boy is in serious condition and all injured parties were treated and released. The lion’s head was sent for rabies testing.
