Dr. Gerald M. Hollingsworth of Fort Walton Beach sails July 4 to Viet Nam to serve in a civilian hospital in the Mekong Delta under Project Hope, a State Department assisted volunteer program. His practice will be taken over by Dr. Eugene Celano during an expected 10 week absence, with return planned by October 1.

Tornado damages West Panama City Beach. one hospitalized
A freak tornado from the Gulf of Mexico damaged homes and motels in the Bahama section of West Panama City Beach. One woman, Irene Hicks, was hospitalized with cuts and abrasions. others suffered minor injuries as flying glass and debris caused damage and power outages. The storm struck Cliff Stiles’ cottage and damaged neighboring homes before subsiding.
