Law Officers Nab Two Desperados Near County Line
Two fugitives from Georgia, reportedly escapees from separate prisons, were captured near the Okaloosa Walton county line after a daylong multiagency search. The men, driving a stolen pickup, were spotted by Constable Dick Saltsman and chased through mud and woods with bloodhounds and a Civil Air Patrol plane before one was caught at noon and the other by 3 PM.
