Airman In Serious Condition After Five Car Crash
Airman James E. Whatley of Eglin AFB remained unconscious and in critical condition Sunday at Baptist Hospital Pensacola after a five car crash on Eglin Parkway Friday afternoon. Investigating officer Fred Gibson said Whatley, driving at high speed, passed between traffic and struck four cars then a telephone pole, with possible reckless driving charges. Readies noted damages to five vehicles and a total loss of Whatley’s 1959 Edsel. A separate Wright girl was injured when she fell from a moving van on Eglin Parkway and Hollywood Boulevard.

Woman charged after fatal Florida stabbing case
