MIENNA The economic commission of OPEC has drafted a completely new price structure for crude oil. The plan, expected to raise wholesale heating oil costs, according to industry sources quoted Thursday.
General Motors recalls 782000 Chevrolet Pontiac Oldsmobile and Buick 74 models to repair a possible front suspension issue that could loosen nuts after many miles. Washington IP The Senate approved the Manpower Training Act creating a job training and creation program costing about 2 billion dollars. The measure extends a public service jobs program, with 259 million this year and 850 million next year, aiding state and local governments with wages for municipal workers and safety personnel. President Nixon expected to sign. allocations depend on a complex formula based on unemployment and family income.
Three juveniles from the Niceville area were charged Thursday with the November seventh breaking and entering of Rosemont Trailer Sales east of Niceville on State Road 20. Police recovered a cash box and checks but not the cash, with over $100 in cash and checks stolen. The youths were released to the Division of Youth Services for disposition. Police also reported a stolen motorcycle found near Niceville Senior High School, valued at $625, returned to owner Richard Hockton.
