Hijacker Suspect at Kennedy Airport Wounded Two Federal Agents
A bearded man with a guitar and attache case triggered a metal detector at Kennedy Airport before shooting two federal agents in a struggle over a gun. Robert J. Dobbelaer, 25, of Valley Cottage New York, was captured after fleeing onto a ramway and attempting to commandeer a food service truck. He is held on 75000 bail on charges of attempted murder and assault. He had previously escaped Rockland State Hospital and is to undergo psychiatric evaluation ahead of a December 28 hearing. Patrolman Capozzi said the man was irate and incoherent claiming a plane death wish and threat from an evil force.

Governor seeks repeal of city utility taxes in Florida

Four in Family Shot for $300 Narcotics Debt
Police seek three men after a woman and her niece were raped and shot and two young children were killed over a $300 narcotics debt. Mrs Barbara Hall, 26, said men abducted her in St. Louis, then pursued and shot them near a burned-out house in rural St. Charles County before fleeing.
