Florida Secretary of State Richard Stone says George Wallace may not appear on the Florida presidential primary ballot as a Democrat if he campaigns nationwide as an independent. Stone, chairing the candidate selection committee, will decide whether Wallace qualifies as a third party candidate. Wallace previously carried Florida in 1968 with the American Independent Party.
