Martha J. Dougall a 25 year old New York City visitor was struck while crossing US 18 on Okaloo sa Island near the Coronado and died after transfer to a Pensacola hospital. Investigators said she did not see the westbound car driven by 35 year old William Thurman Nutt and no charges were filed. A Ranger Camp accident followed within hours when an Army private first class died after being crushed between a truck and a building while directing the vehicle to back up. The victim's name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
