Teens Plan Week Of Activities To Honor First Birthday

The Fort Walton Beach Teen Center marks its first anniversary with a week of events. Moonlight cruises on the Choctaw Queen for senior teens, a pool party at Eglin Officers Club, a gala dance, a car rally with a $5 prize, a back to school fashion show, and a bowling party at Sky Strike Lanes with door prizes. Tickets range up to $1.50 and nonmembers pay $2 for the rally. transportation is not provided for events.

New Humane Shelter Planned At 36 000 Cost

Playground Humane Society plans a new shelter in the Industrial Park with kennels for dogs and a cat cage area plus an admin and vet examining room. Architect Henry Nichols of Fort Walton Beach leads design. Donations and loans are sought to cover about 31 000 after a 5 000 gift offer from Mrs. John Coffeen.

Hospital Names Gregory Crook as Assistant Administrator

Gregory M. Crook of Panama City is named assistant administrator of the Okaloosa County Hospital System by Director Richard Edmondson. Crook, 70, will start next week and reports to Edmondson.
