Seventy five couples in granny dresses and overalls joined a three circle dance around Rev. C Mason Harvey as 2000 spectators watched a Synanon style mass marriage at a Marin County communal farm. The 150 newlyweds were part of the Synanon Foundation with 1700 residents. The ceremony featured a Shetland pony arrival, a Book of Synanon reading, and a barbecue feeding hundreds.
