Plano High School to Host Sixth Annual College Night
Plano High School will host College Night at 7 30 p m Sept 24 in the auditorium, with 38 colleges and universities represented. Guidance counselor Johnnie Spies invites sophomores juniors and seniors and their parents to attend as representatives discuss admissions and requirements in three 30 minute sessions. Davenport woman freed on larceny charge over Goodwill drop boxes
Betty Lou Short 29 of Davenport released in a pretrial program after being charged with larceny for taking clothing from Goodwill drop boxes to give to neighbors. Bunny Crable remains jailed on 10000 bond for the same charge. Short said she acted to aid those in need and questioned felony charges.
