PD Cracks Theft Ring
Police uncovered a bicycle theft ring Friday morning. Five juveniles were arrested and released to Juvenile Officer Pete Barnes in connection with the incident. Police also took a report of child abuse and investigated an auto theft and two residential burglaries. Officers answered 44 calls and arrested three persons for no driver license and warrants from Dallas and Plano. Two minor accidents were reported Thursday with collisions involving Mae Isaacs and Daniel Truskey Jr. at Jupiter and 15th, and Patricia Brooks and Robert Nordmeyer in Park Mall parking.
