Funeral services were held Tuesday at First United Methodist Church Plano for Don W. Bagwill a veteran editor and journalist who died Sunday in a McKinney hospital. Pastor Rev James Palmer officiated with interment at Restland Memorial Park. Bagwill a native of Collin County had a long career in journalism including roles at McKinney Daily Courier Gazette Waxahachie Daily Light Plano Star Courier and McKinney Courier Gazette. He was active in community service groups and church leadership in both McKinney and Plano.
