Plano Planning Commission Approves Los Rios Addition Plans

The commission approved preliminary plat and phase two plans for Los Rios Addition north of FM 544, plus final plat and plans for the northeast hospital quadrant. The 93 acre tract will hold 221 single family lots and four townhomes, with major sewer relocations planned. Also approved Sears annexation and retail zoning on a 113.4 acre tract at Preston Road and FM 544.

PUSH to Collect Christmas Gifts

Don W. Bagwill veteran newspaper man dies in Plano

Funeral services were held Tuesday at First United Methodist Church Plano for Don W. Bagwill a veteran editor and journalist who died Sunday in a McKinney hospital. Pastor Rev James Palmer officiated with interment at Restland Memorial Park. Bagwill a native of Collin County had a long career in journalism including roles at McKinney Daily Courier Gazette Waxahachie Daily Light Plano Star Courier and McKinney Courier Gazette. He was active in community service groups and church leadership in both McKinney and Plano.
