The Plano ISD School Board approved housing Saigling Elementary students at Jackson Elementary until Saigling opens in fall 1977. A dedicated bus will serve the area with priority transportation, while staff and programs at Jackson will align with district offerings. The board discussed funding for handicapped education and anticipated interdistrict cooperation for special education.

Skelton cites higher Clean Air Act costs for Texas homes
