Plan for Bill 624 Endorsement by Collin County Court
Collin County Commissioners plan to endorse House Bill 624 at a Monday 9 am meeting to expand services at subcourthouses by lowering the census threshold to 17 500 from 20 000. Absentee voting ends Tuesday for city and school races
Two days remain to vote absentee in the April 2 city and school elections. As of Friday, 25 city votes and 23 school votes were cast. Absentee ballots close at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the School Administration Building and city site, with polls open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Wilson Middle School and Bowman Middle School.

Check Due On Voting Equipment For Plano ISD Election
A validity test of the electronic voting equipment for the April 2 Plano Independent School District Board of Trustees election will be held at 2 30 p m Wednesday March 30 at the School Administration Building 1517 Avenue H McKinney Helen Starnes of the County Clerk's office will conduct the test to ensure the tabulating equipment counts votes accurately. Mrs Starnes and Jerry Smith will also conduct an instructional session for judges and clerks at the same time.
