Planoite Shot As He Sleeps In Plano Home
A 22 year old Plano resident is reported in good condition after a Sunday night shooting. William Henry Wells of 806 13th St said an unknown intruder entered his home about 6 p m and fired while he slept. He was taken to a veterans hospital with a leg wound. Police also logged three thefts and five burglaries, including a medical clinic and a pants store, plus two motor vehicle burglaries and one residence burglary. They handled 15 minor accidents, 124 calls, and 16 arrests for traffic warrants runaways drunkenness weapons shoplifting and other offenses.

Joiner Pleads Guilty in Plano National Bank Theft
Clifford Joiner Jr pleaded guilty in Tyler federal court to stealing a United States Treasury check worth 487.35 from Plano Bank and Trust around November 13.
