Body Found in Abandoned Cullooka House. Suspect in Custody
The body of 58 year old Victor Birch Mankin was found in an abandoned Cullooka house in Collin County amid a missing person case opened March 4. A homicide suspect is in custody. Dallas County ME will rule on death Monday. Mankin's 1968 Ford was later found at a McKinney wrecking yard after plates were removed. Further details will be released by the sheriff.

City Considers 11-Acre Loop 9 Right of Way Purchase
Plano city council plans a Monday night resolution to share the cost with Richardson on a 50 50 basis for acquiring an 11 acre tract. The land, owned by St Louis and Southwestern Railway Co, lies east of Plano along the Richardson boundary. The company will not dedicate until full field notes are ready, but the city expects the land to be available once notes are completed.

Absentee Voting Opens For City and School Elections
