Grass Fire Extinguished By Firemen
One grass fire reported Tuesday. Firefighters were called to a field behind Davis Elementary at 7 31 p m and again at 8 40 p m to tackle a grass and brush blaze. The department also extinguished a truck fire and answered two ambulance calls.

Canyon Creek resident Gunnar Engen becomes the third candidate to file for Place 2 on the Plano Independent School District Board of Trustees joining incumbent Tom Hughston and Clyde Liebman. Engen, an economist and labor statistics official, and his wife Maria have two children enrolled in Wilson Middle School and Aldridge Elementary. The last day to file for the April 2 election passed today and ballot positions will be drawn tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. in the School Administration Building.

Four Teens Busted On Pills Charge
Four teenagers were picked up Monday night for violation of the controlled substances act. A lab report on the pills is pending. Two other adults were arrested for licenses and warrants. Police answered 88 calls and reported several thefts burglaries and accidents.
