Airplane Seized in Dallas Smuggling Case
A twin engine Piper Aztec suspected of carrying several hundred pounds of marijuana from Mexico was impounded by U S Customs at Dallas North Airport after a pursuit from Shiloh Richardson. The plane, registered to Specialty Aero Dallas, was flown to San Antonio for confiscation proceedings. A search for dumped cargo in North Texas yielded no evidence per Collin County Sheriff Jerry Burton.
