Power outage hits Plano west side after one car crash
A motorist lost control at Parker and Custer Roads early Saturday, striking an electrical pole and knocking out power to the Ports O Call and Stone Creek Additions for about 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Utilities spokesman Jim Taylor said the damaged pole caused extensive outages to transformers and capacitors, delaying restoration. The driver reportedly fell asleep at the wheel.
