Teens arrested after Trail Grocery robbery in Plano
Two 16 and 17 year olds were arrested on suspicion of armed robbery at Trail Grocery on FM 544 near Preston Road. The pair allegedly fled with several hundred dollars after forcing the Trail couple at gunpoint. A second, unarrested robbery occurred as a McKinney man was assaulted while helping a stalled car, with one suspect later identified as still at large.

Commission OKs Zoning Requests Amid Planning Board Approvals

Approved parcels include 56.5 acres at FM 544 and Coit Rd for SF 3 homes, Teak Wood Estates 29 acres SF 2, Parker Plaza West II 22 acres, Willowbrook Square 6.2 acres with 69100 sq ft retail, and Corner Village Shopping Center 10 acres. Commission set June 29 to study the Comprehensive Plan and July 6 for the first regular meeting due to the holiday weekend.
