Plano sees property crimes rise in the first six months of 1976 with 267 720 dollars stolen across nine robberies 301 burglaries 717 thefts and 19 auto thefts. Robberies up 80 percent thefts 50 percent burglaries 20 percent auto thefts down 13 percent. Police blame resident lax security with 51 percent of burglaries from unsecured property.
