Textbook Hearing Slated Thursday in Plano ISD
A public hearing on textbooks for Plano Independent School District adoption is set for 7 p.m. Thursday at the administration building. The 15 member Textbook Committee will hear input used to guide recommendations to the School Board. An advisory parent group from each of the seven secondary schools has reviewed the books and reported no objections. Citizens may comment again at the February 15 School Board meeting.

Registration For College Ends Feb 1
Last day for late enrollment for Grayson County College extension courses at Williams High School is Thursday Feb 1 from 6 to 8 pm in the cafeteria. Courses include English history government math business accounting data processing sociology biology and real estate. Basic costs are 26 dollars for one course and 40 dollars for two. Counsellors will assist in planning. Students may also register at McKinney High School for Plano and McKinney classes Monday night Jan 31.
