Grass Fires Still Plague Firefighters
The Plane Fire Dept. fights grass and yard fires from unseasonably dry weather. Two grass fires and one yard fire were reported Thursday including a pasture on FM 544 at Coit Rd at 11:23 a.m. and a field west of Yeary Rd at 5:55 p.m. A lawn fire at 2509 Walnut occurred at 2:14 p.m. Firefighters also responded to a natural gas leak and made five ambulance runs.

Navy Concert Band To Perform In Plano High Gym
Tickets go on sale Saturday at six Plano locations for a Navy Concert Band concert at 8 p.m. Tuesday March 16 in Plano Senior High School gym.
