Collin County’s share of federal aid under a $44.6 billion roll
Tax Foundation figures show Collin County received about $13.56 million in direct grants for public housing education health and related programs during the last fiscal year. Cancer test shows 88 percent cancer detection claim

Police Report Shows Light Activity Across Dallas Area
Police activity remained light with 39 calls for assistance. One theft and one motor vehicle burglary were investigated, plus one arrest on a Dallas Police Dept warrant and one criminal mischief report. An early 2:45 a.m. accident involved a 1969 cement mixer. Edwin Dunn struck Johnny Propes' 1950 Ford near 12th Street. A Monday incident sent John Cathey to Plano General Hospital after his Buick left the road into a creek.
