Plano Wins State Dominates PNG For AAAA Championship
Plano defeats Port Neches Groves 13 to 10 at Texas Stadium to capture the Class AAAA State Football title. The win sets an all time high school attendance record of 49,953 and makes Plano the first program to win state titles in Class AA AAA and AAAA. Coach Tommy Kimbrough credits players, coaches, Plano supporters, and faith for the achievement. Plano led 10-0 after a field goal and Turner’s 11 yard TD run, PNG rallied to 13-10 by halftime then stayed within one score in the second half.

A Plano FBI monthly report shows 192 major offenses in November, up from 180 in October. Violent deaths include a manslaughter in November and an October homicide case cleared by death by own action. Public Hearings Set on Annexation and Zoning Plans
