Morris' Bid for AIP Presidential Nomination Fails

Dr. Robert Morris of the University of Plano lost the final AIP nomination vote at the Chicago convention. Lester Maddox won with 177 votes, just seven above the required margin, while John Rarick gathered 78.9 votes. Morris polled 80.3.

Moore Donation Aids Shawnee Trail Park in Plano

Light Agenda at Collin County Commissioners Court

The Collin County Commissioners Court meets at 9 a.m. in McKinney with a light agenda.
