A 20 year old Plano man was arrested early Thursday for motor vehicle burglary after a citizen band radio was taken from a truck behind the Central Fire Station. He was chased by a firefighter, then arrested at Plano North Shopping Center. The CB radio was recovered.

Kidnapping Case Narrows In on Suspect in Dallas Area
Richardson Texas investigators say they have good information about the kidnapper who released Norma Bush 26 a saleswoman for Hubert Becker. A $60 000 ransom was demanded but not paid. Bush was kidnapped after leaving her office to meet a man she had shown homes to in Richardson and Plano. She was freed five hours later at Valley View shopping center in North Dallas. The kidnapper noted a ransom note hidden outside the Becker home and left directions to a remoter spot in far north Plano. Police reported no arrests yet and declined to reveal where she was held.
