Strings Program Now Underway In Piano ISD
The Piano Independent School District starts its second year of strings instruction in the music program with about 70 students in grades 6-12 learning violin viola cello and string bass. Elementary classes meet twice weekly while secondary students study daily. Seventh graders and older with prior study may join the string orchestra and participate in upcoming Christmas choral and school productions.
