Police Nab Vandalism Suspect in Plano
Police believe they know who caused about 2000 dollars in car-window damage from a weekend spree. A 17-year-old man was arrested Wednesday afternoon for 15 criminal mischief cases in east Plano as detectives question him. Other arrests include an 18-year-old for protective custody a 20-year-old for criminal trespass and an 18-year-old for disorderly conduct lacking a license and assault. Daniel Munoz of Dallas was injured Tuesday when his 1971 van crashed on US 75 rolling into the eastbound embankment.

Kitchen Fire Damages Home in West Plano on Ridgefield
The Raythel Waterman residence at 1023 Ridgefield suffered heavy kitchen fire damage after grease on an electric range overheated. Fire officials report interior kitchen loss and smoke damage to the rest of the house. Fire Marshal Threet has not yet estimated the loss. Nine firefighters and three units responded at 10 14 a.m. the blaze ended at 10 25 a.m. A grass fire near Jacob's Store on FM 544 was also extinguished later.
