Murder Suspect Jailed After Garland Massage Parlor Slaying
Anita Vasquez, 30, from Garland, is jailed in Collin County on $85,000 bond for murder in the Plantation Massage Parlor shooting that killed Monte Bristow. Jody Sue Davis, 18, also faces murder charges with a $75,000 bond after surrendering in Irving. Witnesses say Davis demanded back wages, an argument followed, and Bristow was shot in the back and thigh with a .22 caliber pistol. Bristow owned multiple parlors. two prior fires in Lewisville and near the Plantation location are being probed as arson.

Wildcats Reserve Season Tickets Go On Sale
About 150 reserved seat season tickets for Plano Wildcat home football games go on sale at 8:30 a.m. August 12 at the School Administration Building. Remaining seats, including some 50 yard line spots, will be sold as a book of five for 12.50. Unused tickets will be sold individually during the season.
