Sometime Monday night the Hair Shed at 1310 Avenue M reported the theft of blow dryers curling irons and hair products worth about 700. Detectives continued the investigation as police handled 60 calls. Two thefts one residential burglary one motor vehicle burglary one auto theft and five cases of criminal mischief were also under probe. A 15 year old was taken as a child in need of supervision and a 23 year old jailed for intoxication. An accident at 11 05 a.m. at 18th and H involved Annaclaire Turner and James Mitchell Jacobs with minor injuries.

Student Patrollers Trained at Safety Patrol Session
Selected students from Aldridge Elementary and Richardson ISD elementaries will attend a one day safety patrol training session Aug. 12 at Terrace Elementary in Richardson.
