The City Council rejects a one way plan on Mill Valley and Highedge, allowing both north and south bound traffic. Weekend burglary spree dominates city crime report
Police log shows seven residential and five motor vehicle burglaries over the three day period along with four bicycle and five other thefts. Seven people were arrested including two for intoxicated driving and two with warrants. A cow was killed in a collision with two cars at Hillside and 14th.

Plano Youth Severely Burned In Grass Fire Accidents
Ten year old Dave Moore is in Parkland Hospital Burn Center with second and third degree burns over 47.5 percent of his body after his clothing ignited while mowing at home. Fire officials say gasoline fumes likely caused the blaze and neighbor Wakefield helped extinguish the flames before he was rushed to Richardson General and then to the burn center. Fire department operations included five other ambulance calls, two grass fires, two odor investigations, and pumping water from three homes.
