Death Comes to Henry Windham proprietor of Hotel Waldorf
Henry Frederick Windham, proprietor of the Hotel Waldorf on East Front street, died at his home at 5 20 yesterday after a short pneumonia illness. Drs Pittis and Hedges used Mayo serum without success. Funeral private at St Joseph's church next Monday at 10 and burial in St Mary's cemetery. Windham, born in Holland Sept 27 1855, had lived in Plainfield 32 years and built the Waldorf 20 years ago. He leaves a wife Miss Herold, two daughters Margaret and Clara, and a son Henry F Windham Jr.
