Commencement Exercises at Whainheld Seminary
The Whainheld Seminary held a June 5 commencement in a decorated hall. Principal events included hymns, a sermon titled The Symmetrical Life by John Herman Randall, diplomas presented to Dorothy White Eleanor Berkin Margaret Khoball and Marie Sykes, and awards for excellence in O. S. history and a standing in geometry. The class marched out with a recessional and congratulatory greetings from friends.

Kentucky Man Weds Miss Margaret Russell in Home Ceremony
A Kentucky groom and Miss Margaret Russell were married last Saturday evening in a home ceremony at Union Street residence. Rev. Philip B. Strong officiated with Southern charm decor and palms. The bride wore white embroidered net and a orange blossom veil. the reception featured bride roses and lilies of the valley. Best man George E. Kelly and bridesmaid Annette McGinney attended as guests from Philadelphia and New York area. The couple will reside in Philadelphia after a brief wedding trip.

The official board will warn Sunday June 15 observe Children’s Day. At 4 o clock in the afternoon a Crescent Ave Church service will engage the children of the Sunday school. The morning service will be led by Su and the children of the primary department. There will be no church music this month and the usual fifteen minute revival will be omitted. Late Priest's Father Dies in South Amboy
W C Miller a well known resident of South Amboy and father of the late Rev Father Mille longtime rector of St Joel church died at his home after a long illness. Burial was in South Amboy after a funeral at St Mary's church. Miller was many years old and widely known in the vicinity, with frequent visits to his son at Joseph's church. The priest's father leaves a family memorial near the college.
