A World Movement survey shows American ministers earn far less than lawyers doctors manufacturers and even cotton pickers. It cites many denominations with median pay under 1500 yearly and argues for universal pensions and better support for clergy including affordable housing and pensions to end the disgrace of underpaid ministers.
A report notes the purchase of four hundred new stereo slides for use in several school departments to assist instruction. A High School party honored Miss Helen Hatton prior to her departure for Burnettsville, with games and candy making led by chaperons Mr. Phillips and Miss DeWeese.
Eliza Florence Miles died February 18 1920 at age 68 in Indianapolis Indiana nine details include marriage to John A Miles in 1874 four surviving children Nettie Feeder Emma Thomas Harry Miles Lidith Miles and Strong Miles plus one deceased daughter Victora Little. She lived on a Plainfield farm and was active in Christian groups.

The Comer and Scearce Co. of Mooresville will issue Farm and Home Builder, a house organ now with Messenger Printing Co. It will be mailed to patrons of the company yards soon. H. C. Scearce, secretary, serves as editor with staff representatives from connected yards.
Lee Collins of Mooresville Indiana transfers to Mary Simpson of Hendricks County. Leroy Rirk of Toledo Ohio transfers to Elza beth R Bowman of Avon Indiana.
The Indiana Woman's Franchise League adopts a non partisan stance at its April 6 8 convention, opposing a separate women’s party while urging women from all parties to engage in education and legislation. Leaders say strong party affiliations by members are permissible and desirable to advance shared goals. Noted suffragists and memorials to Anna Howard Shaw will be featured.
A L Taylor former high school principal has been elected secretary of the Franklin Chamber of Commerce. He will devote his time to advancing civic and business interests in Franklin and the surrounding community.
The article notes Mr. Taylor brings law study and practice, teaching, clerical and insurance experience to a new Franklin office. He will relocate with his family from Illinois, start duties March 1, and be welcomed March 8 at a Chamber of Commerce luncheon where plans for the year will be outlined.

Jas H Woertendyke, noted lecturer and reformer, will discuss Prohibition in World Re-Construction at 8 oclock Wednesday evening at the Christian church. He has led Prohibition efforts in California and spoken in Chicago and other cities. Blind Boone and his Concert Company appear Monday March 1 at the opera house for a blues and piano recital noted for its captivating performance.
Pupils of the Grade school present a program at the high school building on Friday evening February 27 at 7 30. Admission is 10 and 25 cents. The public is cordially invited to attend.
The next Union Home Economics Class meeting is Tuesday afternoon March 2 at the home of Mrs. Ann Atkinson.
Guest Day at the home of Mrs. Chas. N. Symons will feature Zona Gale's play The Neighbors. A cast including Miss Able Mrs. Ernest Cooper Grandpa Mrs. H. J. Ballard Inez Mrs. Don Douglass and others will perform for members and their guests on Saturday afternoon February 28.
The Hendricks County Federation of Home Economics Clubs schedules an all day gathering in the Woman's Club room at the Danville courthouse on Saturday February 28 starting at 10 30 a m. Mrs L B Foster state chairman will be present to discuss vital issues for women including plans for a Home Demonstrator in the county. Farmers will also meet at the courthouse to discuss important topics.
