Demonstration of the Majestic Malleable Range is under way at Stanley Hardware Company. A Majestic representative, with Mr and Mrs Stanley, host open house this week as music, biscuits, and coffee accompany visitors. Plainfield Mills supplies Cream of the Wheat flour for biscuits. Miss Carroll and domestic science classes tour the exhibit and learn range operation. Demonstration runs all week with a large turnout anticipated Friday and Saturday.

Farm House Fire Destroys Home of Joneses
The country home of Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Jones was destroyed by a Sunday morning fire of unknown origin. Strangers in a passing auto sighted it. a crowd gathered but firefighters were late. Eleven rooms burned, loss estimated at about 5000 dollars with furniture losses over half. Insurance on house and furniture totaled 1200 dollars. rebuilding is planned for spring.
