The P. H. S Primary Contest at the High School Assembly Room drew broad turnout with seventeen entrants. Indiana Grand Chapter to Meet at Masonic Temple
The forty sixth annual meeting of the Indiana Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star will be held at the Masonic Temple auditorium in Indianapolis on April 28 and 29. Sessions begin 10 o clock Wednesday with grand officers receiving on the temple's third floor 8 to 11 p m. Ritualistic work is to be exemplified Thursday evening by Indianapolis chapters in temple chapter rooms. Plainfield Chapter delegates will attend, and all members and visitors are welcome.

The community mourns Virginia White, eighteen month old daughter of Mr and Mrs Will White, who died Sunday evening after an eighteen month illness of acute interios. The funeral was held Tuesday at the family home with Rev S L Essick of the Baptist Church officiating and Baptist Choir providing music, burial at Maple Hill Cemetery.
