In the second race J W Joosoo’s horse from the city beat Pleming’s from New Brunswick with a time around 2:27. A next event may feature the two winners.
The New New Jeel Baptist State Association plans its annual convention in the city at First Gapra Chien for several days starting Tuesday October 20, alongside the State Educational Society gathering.
