The Springfield case on HL Springer of Grove was served yesterday afternoon. The suit seeks to move the matter to the November term to be tried in Rhasbeth with Hen A. Griffin and TL Thempeon of Houston representing Springer. Previous hearings in Winter and at Phleton involved Springer in the labor dispute, with Springer leaving before the end of the year.
Miss Ella Thorn, daughter of Mr and Mrs Thorn, died yesterday morning. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at five o clock from the residence of M. P. Marcley, 131 Avenue, with burial at Friends' Cemetery. Friends invited to attend.

Eighteen members rode a streetcar to Washington Avenue then gathered for refreshments as they heard a Riley verse recital and heard remarks from James McGee about promoting Christian work. Members listed include D. Bicks president C Randolph vice president and several others. several musicians performed before departure with warm remembrances.
