Yesterday afternoon about four o clock a runaway carriage at Prospect Avenue near Ninth Street injured Mr and Mrs Revard of Fanwood and their children. The horses bolted after striking a log, throwing occupants free as George Kuckfellow rescued them. Mr Revard was severely shaken and spine injuries feared. Mrs Revard bruised. Several others assisted before the carriage was halted near Central Avenue.

Mee Newman of the ward faced trial this morning on a charge arising from an accusation by her neighbor Mrs Kane for using language unbecoming a lady. The matter concerned an incident last week and the judge warned of possible contempt if belligerent conduct continued. W Brngton represented the defendant. The judge considered the menaced offense worth 85 or thirty days, and the counsel stated intent to appeal.
The eighth anniversary celebration for Miss Edna Randolph was held at the Randolph home with Mrs. Randolph hosting. A Platedoes Alliance meeting at All Souls Church will discuss Woman of the Nineteenth Century and the role of women, led by Mrs. Florence Howe-Hall. All women are invited.
