Rev Purvis to Accept New Testament Chair at Princeton Seminary

The Rev Dr George T Purvis pastor of Finn Presbyterian Church notified the church session last Wednesday that he has accepted the Professorship of New Testament Literature at Princeton Theological Seminary and asked the session to release him without further action. Purvis, Princeton Seminary graduate in 1878, has been a prominent Presbyterian minister since joining Finn in 1876.
