Social event closes season at Congregational Obareh

The Ladies' Aid society held the last social of the season in the Congregational Obareh with a large turnout. Doors opened to a crowded room as Miss Swight, Miss Seremith and Miss Fuller attended, a piano solo by Miss Van Pleet accompanied. Builder Lunger’s Frightful Fall From Scaffold

This morning J n canger of Westervearenee worked on a scaffold at a house on [address obscured]. The structure gave way, sending him about twenty five feet to the ground. He landed on dirt and was knocked senseless. He suffered severe injuries with 26 bones broken and internal damage. He is in severe pain and unable to speak as doctors assess his condition. A broken prop and falling shingles contributed to the accident. Neighbors and workers aided him, and he was conveyed home for further care after initial treatment.
