West Side News Frank Huthmaker Injured On Slippery Walk

Frank Huthmaker, right watchman at No. washers, suffered a fractured leg after slipping on a snow-covered walk on York avenue o'clock this morning while en route to Dr B B Long on Susquehanna avenue. He was taken home at the corner Luzerne avenue and Franklin Street. The incident came as Burgess Jenkins and Street Commissioner Urquhart inspected the walk on Joh Muirhead's property and found no defect. In related news, the Reserves posted their 12th victory in 16 games, led by Stanley Repp with strong guard play as Callahan and J Hark contributed. The West Pittston Juniors defeated the second B Y P U team 19 to 2, with Wicks, W Clark, Snowden, Holpies, and Lewis in the lineup.
