A Port Griffith youth seeking a coffin for a nap at Burns undertakers on South Main Street became trapped when his chosen coffin closed. He was cut and bruised, hauled to the police station, and allowed to sleep off his overindulgence.
A Buffalo physician recommends Stuart’s Charcoal Lozenges for gas in the stomach and bowels, to clear complexion and purify breath. The item touts charcoal’s absorbent powers, claims improved health, and notes a twenty cent box in drug stores.
