George Ott, 24, lies dying at his 13 Pine Street Allegheny home from a knife thrust in the left lung after a quarrel with his 22 year old brother John Ott. The two Groetzinger tannery workers fought unseen by witnesses as their mother and siblings were away. Police surrounded the area while John, injured in the struggle, was taken to Central station and later described as unable to speak to investigators. Medical staff declared George beyond recovery by 10 PM.
