He discovered his wife had remarried to D Winney now living in Albuquerque New Mexico. He tracked them through Kansas City Lake City Denver and other towns to learn of the family then chose not to harm his wife or her new husband in a dramatic return tale.
New York November 15 Dr Charles A Briggs preached at West End Presbyterian Church defending progressive sanctification in the middle state. He argued immediate sanctification is unauthorised by scripture and warned against antimonians and Methodist views while affirming the resurrection of the body and ongoing spiritual formation.
